Symbols Change Who We Are

In this Art Piece, There are three colors being shown. Green, Representing resilience, youth, health and good fortune. Red, Representing life, health, vigor, courage, anger, love and religious fervor. Lastly Pink, Representing peace, compassion, and love. The three different characters involve Vladek Spieglman, a Holocaust survivor who’s resilience has really shown how difficult and challenging the Holocaust was for a Jew at the time and he represents how you need to forget about the past and think about the future ahead of yourselves. Next Character is Goerge Takei who was a part of the Bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, when Japan Bombed Pearl Harbor Hawaii. He shows how being a kid in horrible times being in Internment camps and he is telling the story of when you think things are bad, don’t then think that everything else in your life is going to be bad. As later he was chosen to be a part of a Series called Star Trek and Star Trek was a Series where all races were let into the cast and that is one of the movies that has done that. Lastly, there is a Man named Fred Korematsu who had denied the fact of putting all people with any Japanese Ancestry into internment camps and he went into hiding and later he was arrested. He kept on fighting his case until one day, on November 10, 1983, when his case got overturned. His Resilience is highly shown as he keeps trying and doesn’t give up until it finally works.
