Regional Seminars

Bringing the TOLI educational model to teachers across the United States

COVID-19 Notice: All in-person events will follow the most current local COVID guidelines including rescheduling if dictated by state/county regulations.

The Regional Seminar Program brings the TOLI educational model to teachers across the United States. Begun in 2011, these five-day seminars are designed to provide a collaborative and safe environment in which teachers can explore the difficult subject of the Holocaust and other genocides. While each seminar focuses on local issues of social injustice, their overall goal is the same: for teachers to leave with strategies, materials, and ideas for use in their own classrooms. One long-term goal is for teachers to become advocates for social change and to return to their classrooms with action plans that will enable them and their students to have a positive impact on their communities.
