The FBI in Albuquerque joined TOLI and educators at the New Mexico seminar, “Teaching the Holocaust for Social Justice” and tweeted a thank- you to the organization on June 14, 2022.
The #FBI thanks The Olga Lengyel Institute @olgas_table for inviting us to speak to New Mexico teachers about hate crimes & our civil rights program. Together, we can make our communities safer. What better place to start than with our young people? https://t.co/Er2PwlAnql pic.twitter.com/Gzxbfx7nHM

Hate crimes are the highest priority of the FBI’s civil rights program because of the devastating impact they have on families and communities. The Bureau investigates hundreds of the cases every year, and works to detect and prevent incidents through law enforcement training, public outreach, and partnerships with community groups. At the New Mexico seminar, the FBI is helping educators connect the history and lessons of the Holocaust to present-day issues.
