G74 – “One picture, one thousand words”

Depicts the evils of war but this one refers to the pogrom the Jewish people underwent during the Second World War by the Nazis, which led to the loss of over 6 million innocent souls. The scattered body members stand for the atrocities of The Third Reich against the Jews at the concentration camps, represented by the barbed wire and blood dripping from the “Holocaust” logo. In the upper left-hand corner we see David’s Star, which all Jews were made to have sewn on their clothes, along with a serial number engraved in their wrists. According to an old Chinese saying, “one picture, one thousand words”. The truth is that numerous references, books or films have not yet been able to attribute the extent of human brutality.
