A unique collaboration between TOLI and the MJH, this seminar offers a dynamic, place-based learning experience. Participants will engage in shared inquiry, dialogue, and reflection while deepening their content knowledge and expanding a cross-disciplinary professional network. Join a community of educators committed to strengthening their instructional practice through meaningful collaboration.

John Farris
John Farris is the Social Studies Consultant for Wayne Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA) providing specialized professional development to school districts, teachers and administrators.. He served as an ex-officio member of the Governor’s Council on Holocaust & Genocide Education and co-authored the model curriculum in support of Public Act 170 of 2016 that mandates Holocaust and genocide education in Michigan schools.

Corey Harbaugh
After a lengthy teaching career, Corey Harbaugh retired as a school curriculum administrator in 2025 to move into Holocaust education as Faculty Advisor for The Olga Lengyel Institute and Curriculum Specialist for the Anne Frank Center at The University of South Carolina. He served as a member of the Governor’s Council on Holocaust & Genocide Education and co-authored the model curriculum in support of Public Act 170 of 2016 that mandates Holocaust and genocide education in Michigan schools.
