When if the grief process occurs “Let it go?” Some of my friends are Vietnam vets, and have condemned any vet who returns to Vietnam as a tourist. Their argument is “the pain is just too real” I think each of us must unbox, face, and eventually conquer the demons that try to define us, but not make us better people. I just finished visiting Austria for the first time with Dr. Perl and feel maybe that is where I am headed with this book. I don’t want to be a spoiler. I am excited to see where this takes us.
