I think I came across the book title, The Sunflower On the Possibilities and Limits of Forgiveness, in On Austrian Soil. I think that’s where I saw it… Anyway, I checked it out and I’m about half way through. It goes deep into the question of forgiveness. So far the book is incredibly thought provoking.

I think it’s in the moral spaces that we are most vulnerable/uncomfortable. I love what Sondra writes about this kind of moment on page 49, “when we think aloud together, we many find ourselves valuing different things. We may discover that we disagree even about what is important. This is what we risk when we teach with such openness.”
