Teaching About the Holocaust and Human Rights: Is Hope Possible?

Sondra Perl, the Senior Program Director of The Olga Lengyel Institute for Holocaust Studies and Human Rights (TOLI), is the featured guest of the Kurt and Tessye Simon Fund for Holocaust Remembrance Kristallnacht Commemoration. This Zoom program was introduced by Rabbi Karen Companez of Temple Beth-El in South Bend, Indiana and took place on Sunday, November 7, 2021. Perl's lecture describes her work with Austrian and American teachers and the way the two come together in her work at TOLI. In this video, Perl is joined by TOLI educators Ashley Libben and Sarah Wilson who will co-lead TOLI's satellite seminar in Ligonier, Indiana in the summer of 2022.
