At The United State Holocaust Memorial Museum November 2011
An important part of our class trip to D.C. includes a visit to the USHMM. After our visit, students often remark how much they did not know about The Holocaust until seeing the exhibits. Those who may have visited here at 8th graders note how much more they understand the implications of propaganda and are more aware of the level of human suffering when they return to the museum as young adults.
