Hello…I have been teacher for 20 years, teaching Education, Government, World History and a specialty course called Holocaust and Genocide Studies. My interest in Holocaust education goes back to my work for the US Holocaust Memorial Museum when I did their fellowship back in 2001 and became a board member for the Oregon Holocaust Resource Center. Since then I have gone on to work for the museum as a member of the Regional Education Corps, conducting trainings for the last 7 years. This year I moved to Alaska to work on training native students who want to become teachers in remote villages, a huge challenge, but a calling for sure! On a personal level, I have two wonderful daughters ages 15 and 18 (Emma and Jessica). I love to hike, I am an avid White Sox fan and really love to travel, taking two student groups to Europe in the last two years! That said…I look forward to meeting you all in New York soon…very excited!
