About Me: Please share a bit about yourself--school life, family life, interests (academic and other).

My name is Andrew Dombrowski and I have been teaching for seven years here at Christ the King School in Lexington Kentucky. I have received a bachelor’s degree in history with a concentration in secondary education from Nazareth College in Rochester, New York. I also has a Master’s Degree in School Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands here in Kentucky. Originally from Corning, New York, I now call Lexington my home, and have for eight years now. I currently teach sixth grade geography, seventh grade world history, and eighth grade American history. It is in 8th Grade that my student participate in my Holocaust Unit. Culminating in our 8th Grade trip to Washington DC and the National Memorial Holocaust Museum I have a passion for history and I try to instill that passion into every student. I am the Christ the King School sponsor of Kentucky Youth Assembly (KYA), the eighth grade trip to Washington, DC, and the Coach for the Academic Team. In addition I work closely with the eighth graders as they prepare for Confirmation and Graduation.

My wife’s name is Maria and we have been married for seven years. I have two sons Lincoln who is 4 and Maximilian who is 2. Lincoln is in PreK3 here at Christ the King and Max is in day care. Personally I am a passionate fan of Star Wars and I enjoy sharing that with my sons. I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling with them as well.
