I am a native New Yorker, but I have lived in NC for about 30 years. I am a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and Wake Forest University. This is year 23 of my teaching career and I have taught 10th Grade English every one of those years, and thus have taught Night by Elie Wiesel and the Holocaust every one of those years as well. I am married to an educator (a principal) and we have two daughters.
