This is a picture of Fran Sterling and Dave Fulton, representatives of Facing History and Ourselves. They came to speak to students at my school in honor of Human Rights Day, and to inform students of the role genocide has played in our world and how they can affect positive change for human rights.

This is Arok, one of several "lost boys" from Sudan who have settled here in Colorado. Next to him is Roz Duman, the director of CCGAA (Colorado Coalition for Genocide Awareness and Action). They came to speak to 50+ at risk students in my new school, Pathways, on December 10 (Human Rights Day).
