As part of the "One Meal a Day in May" campaign, my students held bake sales and organized other events to raise money. In about two weeks, we collected almost $600, which we donated to Gua Africa, a charity founded by Emmanuel Jal. The students also composed and performed an original song called "Song for Sudan." They're a great group of young people!
