As part of NSUWP’s K-16 partnership with my school, my seniors conducted research on Jewish life in Nazi Germany and the Holocaust, and they’re now working to recreate and adapt a scene from Macbeth set in that time period. My project was about hereos during the Holocaust. Some of the hereos where a nun who hid Jews in her convent building, a man who helped smuggle Jewish children, and a preist who died in place of another man. I want people to remember that not everyone just did what they were told to do. Some people did resist.
